Opel Sd.Kfz.4/1 Panzerwerfer

Designed as an armored version of the Sd.Kfz.3 half-track, the Sd.Kfz.4 Maultier (Mule) entered production in 1943. The Sd.Kfz.4/1 variant added a Nebelwerfer 42 rocket launcher to the roof. The Nebelwerfer consisted of ten 150mm rocket tubes that could be rotated and elevated in unison. The vehicle typically carried 20 missiles, enough to fire two salvos. Despite being quite innaccurate, the sight and sound of this weapon being fired was enough to threaten the morale of any opposing force. By war's end, roughly 300 vehicles were completed.
