Varig (Varig Brazilian Airlines) also known as Viação Aérea RIo-Grandense SA, is Brazil's leading international airline. The airline currently flies the Boeing 737, Boeing 757, Boeing 767, Boeing 777 and MD-11. It is a member of the Star Alliance.
This was the most common model of the DC-10 and was built with General Electric CF6-50 turbofan engines and larger fuel tanks to increase range and fuel efficiency.
