Soyuz TMA-3 was a mission to the International Space Station (ISS) launched by a Soyuz FG launch vehicle which was the third flight for the TMA modification of the Soyuz spacecraft, and the 7th Soyuz to fly to the ISS. Dragon’s fully built-up and pre-painted Space Collection model is manufactured precisely to 1/400 scale, which allows full detail to be incorporated without making it overly cumbersome in size. With American, Japanese and European rockets already featuring in the Dragon Space Collection, it was essential that Russia also be represented. Thus the new A2 Soyuz TMA-3 stems from entirely new molds. With the manned spacecraft mounted on its Soyuz-FG launch vehicle, the rocket’s appearance is quite different to Western systems. With its good looks and precision molding, it will definitely be soaring into numerous model collections worldwide.
