But more than that, this particular tank features some specific modifications carried out by German maintenance crews – additional storage boxes, Notek light, on-vehicle tools, and a very distinctive Pz.Kpfw III/IV cupola. This is a true international hybrid, a cross between a Russian and German tank, making it an indispensable vehicle for any modeler’s collection! As an added bonus, this release also includes a detailed model of the infamous kubelwagen; the German Army's equivalent of the US Jeep. Based heavily on the Volkswagen Beetle, the Type 82 Kubelwagen (short for Kubelsitzwagen, meaning bucket-seat car) was designed by Ferdinand Porsche and built by Volkswagen during World War II for use by the German military.
