Despite its might, the German Army never had enough vehicles. To partially overcome this shortfall, captured vehicles were often put to good use by their German ‘captors’. While some Russian vehicles were too obsolete to offer any use, others like captured T-34s were highly prized. Dragon Armor proudly offers a second T-34/76 Model 1941, a variant in German service with the 98th Infantry Division in Russia. This time the superb T-34 comes in a winter whitewash with German national markings. But more than that, this particular tank features some specific modifications carried out by German maintenance crews – additional storage boxes, Notek light, on-vehicle tools, and a very distinctive Pz.Kpfw III/IV cupola. This is a true international hybrid, a cross between a Russian and German tank, making it an indispensable vehicle for any modeler’s collection! As an added bonus, this release also includes a detailed model of the infamous kubelwagen; the German Army's equivalent of the US Jeep. Based heavily on the Volkswagen Beetle, the Type 82 Kubelwagen (short for Kubelsitzwagen, meaning bucket-seat car) was designed by Ferdinand Porsche and built by Volkswagen during World War II for use by the German military. The Dragon Models "1:72 Dragon Armor" range presents highly-detailed, ready-made diecast models of military vehicles. Dragon Armor diecast tanks require no glueing or painting. Each model is an instant display piece or diorama centerpiece straight from the box. Made from diecast metal and plastic components, the die cast tanks in the Dragon Armour series are 100% true to scale... these don't look like model tanks, they look like tanks!. Color, camouflage and unit markings are carefully researched for maximum authenticity, marking the difference between and authentic scale model tank and a "toy" tank. Dragon Models "Dragon Armor" diecast vehicles feature: - Diecast metal and plastic construction.
- Rotating turret, elevating cannon and accurate hull.
- Painted, fitted, non-moving tracks on detailed non-rotating wheels.
- Realistic panel lines, antennas, access panels and surface details.
- Pad printed markings and placards that won't fade or peel like decals.
- Clear acrylic display case to protect model.
