In a fully built-up 1/35 scale model, Dragon presents a Tiger I Early Production variant as used by Wittmann during Operation Zitadelle in July 1943. The tank is expertly painted in a two-color camouflage scheme that perfectly mimics the original vehicle. It carries the markings of 13./Pz.Rgt.1, of which Wittmann was a platoon commander. This Battle of Kursk is itself legendary, as 2700 German tanks slugged it out against 3600 Soviet tanks in the world’s largest armored conflagration. New tanks such as the Panther and Elefant made their combat debut at Kursk, but it was the experienced Tiger that provided the advantage over the Soviet military force. The Dragon Models "1:35 Dragon Armor" range presents highly-detailed, ready-made diecast models of military vehicles. Dragon Armor diecast tanks require no glueing or painting. Each model is an instant display piece or diorama centerpiece straight from the box. Made from diecast plastic components, the die cast tanks in the Dragon Armour series are 100% true to scale... these don't look like model tanks, they look like tanks!. Color, camouflage and unit markings are carefully researched for maximum authenticity, marking the difference between and authentic scale model tank and a "toy" tank. Dragon Models "1:35 Dragon Armor" diecast vehicles feature: - Diecast plastic construction.
