Eaglemoss Warships of the World WW0045
Satsuma-class Battleship Diecast Model
IJN, Satsuma, 1910

1:1100 Scale   Length   Width
Satsuma-class Battleship   5.25"   1"

The Satsuma class was a pair of semi-dreadnought battleships built for the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) in the first decade of the 20th century. They were the first battleships to be built in Japan and marked a transitional stage between the pre-dreadnought and true dreadnought designs. They saw no combat during World War I, although Satsuma led a squadron that occupied several German colonies in the Pacific Ocean in 1914. Both ships were disarmed and expended as targets in 192224 in accordance with the terms of the Washington Naval Treaty of 1922.

Eaglemoss Warships of the World

The Eaglemoss "Warships of the World" range presents detailed, ready-made diecast models of naval warships in 1:1100 scale. This series was originally produced for the Japanese market and so the packaging and display stand are all written in Japanese. Nevertheless, the beauty and detail of the models speak for themselves - no translation necessary!

Eaglemoss "Warships of the World" diecast models feature:

  • Diecast metal construction with some plastic components.
  • Pad printed markings and placards that won't fade or peel like decals.
  • Presentation display stand.
