| Mitsubishi F-15J Eagle | | 3.75" | | 2.5" | | Kawasaki T-4 | | 2.75" | | 2" | The F-15 was designed as an air-superiority fighter, combining unparalleled maneuverability, acceleration and range with state-of-the-art avionics and weaponry. The first F-15 flew on July 27th, 1972. The F-15’s advanced avionics system gives it the ability to perform air-to-air or air-to-surface missions at all altitudes. Its superior maneuverability and acceleration are achieved through high engine thrust-to-weight ratio and low wing loading, which enables the aircraft to turn tightly without losing airspeed. The F-15E Strike Eagle derivative is an all-weather strike fighter that entered service in 1989. The U.S Air Force plans to keep the F-15 in service until 2025.© Copyright 2003-2009 The Flying Mule, Inc.
