G-AAZV Jason II, Amy Johnson, July 1931

1:72 Scale   Length   Width
de Havilland Puss Moth   4.25"   6.25"

The De Havilland DH.80A Puss Moth was a British two or three-seater high-wing monoplane aircraft designed and built by De Havilland between 1929 and 1933. Our 1:72 scale DH Puss Moth "Jason II" is a replica of the aircraft flown by aviator Amy Johnson in a number of record breaking flights from history. Painted in blue and silver, with G-AAZV identification markings on both the upper and under wings, added detail includes blue wing supports, black propellers, silvered propeller spinner, black interior, black tail skid and blue grey exhaust pipes. The fuselage sides also feature G-AAZV in silver out of blue/blue out of silver, with the added detail of "Jason" on the sides of the nose in front of the wings, named after her father's trademark.

de Havilland Puss Moth

Designed as a private touring sport aircraft, the de Havilland DH.80 Puss Moth was first flown on September 9th, 1929.
