Marine Light Attack Training Squadron 303 (HMLAT-303), is a United States Marine Corps helicopter training squadron stationed at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California. Known as the "Atlas", HMT-303 trains newly commissioned Naval Aviators, conversion pilots, refresher pilots, and enlisted aircrew on the the UH-1N Twin Huey and AH-1Z Viper. The AH-1Z Viper is a twin-engine attack helicopter developed for the United States Marine Corps. Based on the AH-1W SuperCobra, the AH-1Z features a four-blade, bearingless, composite main rotor system, uprated transmission, and a new target sighting system.

Bell AH-1Z Viper

Designed to meet an urgent US Army requirement for a helicopter gunship, the Bell AH-1 Cobra-sometimes called The Snake-was first flown on September 7th, 1965. Troop-carrying Hueys depended on the Cobra for fire support; it was fast and very maneuverable, and its narrow 38-inch airframe made for a difficult target. Its main armament was its three-barrel 20mm Gatling gun mounted in a chin turret, but it was also capable of using a variety of other weapons including rocket pods, cannon pods, minigun pods and missiles. Replaced by Apaches in the 1990s, the Cobra now serves the US Forest Service as a firefighter.

Forces of Valor's 1:72 scale AH-1 is a very well executed diecast replica of this iconic helicopter with the bottom portion of the fuselage constructed in diecast metal and the top portion constructed in plastic, to allow for maximum detail. The two side-mounted engine cowlings open to reveal details of the GE turbo-shaft engines. The model is supplied with a full set of removable side-mounted pylon ordnance. Additional details include a rotating 20mm gun, an articulating infrared camera and an accurately replicated air data mast, prominently mounted on the nose of the model.
