The Boeing 707 series was one of the most successful air transports ever produced in human history. This remarkable high passenger capacity aircraft entered airline service in 1958. Different from the early versions of the 707, which employed turbojet Pratt & Whitney JT3C engines, the 707 Turbo Fan versions were powered with modified turbofan engines. This completely new-tooled die cast miniature 707 Turbofan model is fully detailed and a must for any Boeing enthusiast.
Designed as the first American turbine-engined airliner, the 707 was first flown on July 15th, 1954. The aicraft was designed from the start as a commercial airliner and military transport/refuelling platform and various models rolled off the production lines for 25 years. © Copyright 2003-2024 The Flying Mule, Inc.
