The 331st squadron (Greek: Mira) operates this Mirage 2000-5 – an updated version of the Delta-winged aircraft. It allows the use of new MICA missiles, giving the air force an improved range and strike capability.

Dassault Mirage 2000-5

Designed as a lightweight fighter for the French Air Force, the Dassault Mirage 2000 was first flown on March 10th, 1978. The Mirage 2000 is a fourth generation fighter based on the Mirage III. It has a delta wing, one engine, a dual-intake, and can carry a range of air-to-surface weapons, including laser-guided bombs. Variants include a single-seat or dual-seat version. The dual-seat 2000N is nuclear strike capable, armed with nuclear weapons and equipped with navigation avionics that are capable of handling air-to-ground munitions. The Mirage 2000C is a single-seat, all weather interceptor armed with high firing rate 30mm guns.
