This model features a German Panther G that fought in Normandy in 1944 to repel the Allied invasion. It features an authentic zimmerit coating and a three-tone camouflage pattern. The German Panther G had a crew of five, and possessed sloping armor that was 80mm thick on the hull front, and 100mm thick on the turret front. When combined with a lethal 7.5cm Kw.K.42 L/70 main gun, and two 7.92mm MG34 machine guns (one coaxial with the main gun, and one in a ball mount in the right bow). Designed to replace to the PzKpfw IV, which had met its match in the new Soviet T-34, the Panzerkampfwagen V "Panther" series of heavy tanks were armed with powerful weapons and equally powerful armor protection. Thought by many to be the best German tank of WWII, the Panther featured a sloped armored turret with a long barrel 75mm main gun and an anti-aircraft 7.92mm machine gun. It was equipped with anti-magnetic paste to combat magnetic mines, and armor skirts offered further protection for the track system and crew.
