Dragon 1:72 Armor 60281 SdKfz 251 Half-Track Diecast Model German Army, Eastern Front, 1942, w/Rivetted Hull 1:72 Scale     Length     Width Sd.Kfz.251 Half-Track     3.25"     1.25" The Sd.Kfz. 251 was produced in a number of hull types, especially as the war wore on and production had to be simplified. This attractive and sleek German half-track was also employed in a plethora of roles, including that of a mortar carrier. This version, known as the Sd.Kfz. 251/2, provided a mobile platform for the 8cm GrW34 medium mortar. This is a 1/72 scale model of one such vehicle, presented as an Ausf.C vehicle with a riveted hull. All detail including the 8cm Grenatwerfer 34 mortar and the rivets on hull have been wonderfully replicated true to scale. It is the first one of this particular variant in Dragon Armor range, and it features a metal chassis for added durability and the ammo rack inside is also represented from photo-etched parts. It features such a vehicle that saw combat in the Eastern Front in 1942, painted in a typical dark yellow with realistic weathering effect.
