Concorde 215 first flew on December 26th, 1978 while registered to the manufacturer Aerospatiale as F-WJAN. It was delivered to Air France on October 28th, 1980 and re-registered as F-BVFF. In 1986, it became the first Air France Concorde to fly around the world - a feat it would repeat 12 more times during its operational life. After logging a total 12,421 hours flight time, including 3,734 supersonic flights, F-BVFF was finally retired from service in 2002. Today, this aircraft is displayed at the Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris.
Designed as a part of a collaborative effort by Britain and France to create a supersonic airliner, the Concorde was first flown on March 2nd, 1969. © Copyright 2003-2024 The Flying Mule, Inc.
