On December 1, 1953 Pan Am received the Douglas DC-6B c/n 44110 registered as N6110C and named "Clipper Natchez". The aircraft operated with Pan Am until September 1968 and also wore the names "Clipper Wiesbaden" and "Clipper Rival". On September 17, 1968 the aircraft was sold to Air Lease and then Vagabond Travel, World Travelers, Aero Retardant. In 1973 it was re-registered as N111CG with Pacific Alaska Airlines and was last operated by Mackey International Airlines. In 1983 the plane began to be cannibalized for spare parts.
