Swissair received the first of their Airbus A310s in April 1983. A310 c/n 412 was part of the Swissair initial order but was re-directed to Balair. The aircraft arrived March 21, 1986 as HB-IPK and flew with Balair until 1993 when it was taken over by Swissair. HB-IPK remained with them until 1999 when it was sold to Hapag-Lloyd as D-ASRB. Then it was sold to a leasing company who leased it to Air Kazakhstan as UN-A3102. The aircraft was scrapped in June 2006.
Designed as a smaller version of the original A300, the A310 was first flown on April 3rd, 1982. © Copyright 2003-2024 The Flying Mule, Inc.
