The Flakpanzer IV Wirbelwind is one of the most distinguishable German WW2 tanks. Built on older and sometimes battle damaged Panzer IV chassis, the Wirbelwind was an interim solution to defend against strong air assaults from allied aircraft. The Wirbelwind was armed with quadruple 20mm Flak 38 guns in an open turret designed with nine armored side panels.

Forces of Valor's 1:32 scale Flakpanzer IV features beautiful weathering effects, such as battle-damaged fenders and mud splashes. The focal point of this quality replica is a highly-detailed 20mm four-barreled anti-aircraft gun assembly, complete with articulating gun sight, operator controls and guns that can be raised and lowered from inside the turret. The upper portion of the model's hull is constructed from diecast metal, with two opening hatches and a movable machine gun. Additional details include stations for magazine changers and separately-stored magazines that can be seen inside the turret, simulated diecast metal welding beads and rolling rubber tracks and wheels with active suspension.
