A versatile tactical transport helicopter, the Black Hawk has greatly enhanced the U.S. Army's mobility. Armed with two, 7.62mm machine guns, it can carry a fully equipped, 11 man infantry squad and cargo lift up to 9,000 lbs. of external load.

Sikorsky HH-60G Pave Hawk

Designed as a better-performing, more reliable replacement for the UH-1 Huey, the UH-60 Black Hawk was first flown on November 29, 1974. The Black Hawk was one of the first aircraft to use the General Electric T700, a common turbine engine designed for use in multiple Army helicopters. This four-bladed, twin-engined, medium-lift aircraft has a low-profile shape so that it can be transported aboard the C-130 Hercules. It also has greater survivability than the helicopter it replaced, with advanced avionics and electronics such as the Global Positioning System (GPS). The Black Hawk also serves as Marine One when transporting the President of the United States.

Forces of Valor's 1:48 scale UH-60 Black Hawk can be displayed with any one of several included configurations. There are two removable side-mounted pylons that can be configured with two external fuel tanks or eight AGM-114 Hellfire missiles. Both cargo doors slide open for an unobstructed view of the fully-rendered cargo interior. Detailed crew figures can be seen through the front windscreen, and two waist gunners are seated behind the cockpit. Both rotors spin freely and the rotor head assemblies are highly detailed. Turbine engine details are visible inside the opening engine panels and there is a movable tail plane.
