Douglas DC-8, construction number 45277, originally served with Pan American-Grace Airways (Panagra) under registration N8277H from its 1960 delivery. In February 1967 it passed to Braniff International after the Panagra merger, initially retaining its Panagra paint with Braniff titles added. Later that year it was re-registered as N1802 under Braniff's fleet. The DC-8 N8277H supported Braniff's short- and medium-haul routes in Latin America and the United States until newer aircraft types replaced it. After its withdrawal from active service it was sold off, ending its connection to the Braniff legacy.
Please note: An optional display stand is available separately if you wish to display this model "in-flight".
