Boeing 737-204(Adv), was registered as G-AXNC with Britannia Airways, the UK's largest charter airline, though the manufacturer serial number for this specific airframe is not confirmed in available public records. Britannia, founded in 1961 as Euravia and later acquired by TUI Group, built a substantial narrowbody and widebody charter fleet supporting package holiday routes to European leisure destinations before the carrier's 2004 rebrand to Thomsonfly.
