Ilyushin Il-18 Coot Diecast Model
Hang Khong Vietnam, VN-B195

Limited Edition

1:400 Scale   Length   Width
Ilyushin Il-18 Coot   3.5"   3.75"

Ilyushin Il-18, was registered as VN-B195 with Hang Khong Vietnam, the Vietnamese state carrier and predecessor to Vietnam Airlines, though the manufacturer serial number for this specific airframe is not confirmed in available public records. VN-B195 supported domestic Vietnamese routes during and after the Vietnam War era, reflecting the country's close alignment with the Soviet Union and extensive reliance on Soviet aircraft types during this formative and turbulent period for Vietnamese commercial aviation. Following the 1975 reunification of North and South Vietnam, the country's fledgling civil aviation sector depended almost entirely on Soviet-supplied aircraft including the Il-18 and Tu-134, a dependency that persisted for over a decade until Vietnam's post-1986 Doi Moi economic reforms gradually opened the door to Western aircraft acquisitions.

Please note: An optional display stand is available separately if you wish to display this model "in-flight".
