Boeing 707-320C, registered JY-AJK, flew for Royal Jordanian (then known as Alia, the Royal Jordanian Airline), Jordan's flag carrier, as part of the airline's early convertible passenger/cargo long-haul fleet supporting international routes connecting Amman to Europe, the Middle East, and beyond. Alia, founded in 1963 under the patronage of King Hussein, built its long-haul network around the 707 during a formative period for Jordanian civil aviation before the airline's 1986 rebrand to the more internationally recognizable Royal Jordanian name that the carrier continues to operate under today.
Please note: An optional display stand is available separately if you wish to display this model "in-flight".
Designed as the first American turbine-engined airliner, the 707 was first flown on July 15th, 1954. The aicraft was designed from the start as a commercial airliner and military transport/refuelling platform and various models rolled off the production lines for 25 years. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
