Boeing 727-2D3, registered JY-AFU, flew for Alia Royal Jordanian Airlines as part of the Jordanian flag carrier's fleet of trijets supporting regional Middle Eastern routes connecting Amman to destinations across the region. Alia's 727 fleet complemented the airline's longer-range 707s, providing efficient capacity for shorter regional routes during a period of significant growth for Jordanian aviation under King Hussein's patronage, before the carrier's 1986 rebrand to Royal Jordanian and subsequent fleet modernization with Airbus aircraft that eventually replaced both the 707 and 727 across the carrier's network.

Please note: An optional display stand is available separately if you wish to display this model "in-flight".

Boeing 727-200

Designed as a smaller, short/medium-ranged complement to the 707, the 727 was first flown on February 9th, 1963.
