Boeing 767-200, registered TR-LFH, flew for Air Gabon, the Central African nation's flag carrier, as part of the airline's long-haul widebody fleet supporting international routes connecting Libreville to Europe and other African destinations. Air Gabon served as the country's primary international air link for decades, reflecting Gabon's oil-driven economic ties to France and other former colonial partners, before the airline's financial difficulties and eventual 2006 collapse led to the creation of successor carrier Gabon Airlines, which inherited much of Air Gabon's route network and continued serving the country's aviation needs.

Please note: An optional display stand is available separately if you wish to display this model "in-flight".

Boeing 767-200

Designed as a wide-bodied, twin-engined airliner to fill the niche between the narrow-bodied 707 and wide-bodied 747, the 767 was first flown on September 26th, 1981. Developed in tandem with the narrow-bodied 757 twinjet, both aircraft share a common digital cockpit layout and are operated by a two man flight crew. Thanks to a proven reliability track-record, the 767 is approved for extended twin engine operations (ETOPS) making it a popular choice for airlines flying transatlantic routes. With more than 1000 aircraft produced, the 767 is the second most prolific wide-bodied airliner after the 747.
