Airbus A321-231, registered JY-AYV, flies for Royal Jordanian, Jordan's flag carrier (formerly known as Alia), as part of the airline's narrowbody fleet supporting regional Middle Eastern routes connecting Amman to destinations across the region. Royal Jordanian has built its narrowbody fleet around the A320 family to serve dense regional Middle Eastern routes, complementing the carrier's long-haul Airbus widebody operations connecting Jordan to Europe, Asia, and North America as one of the region's established flag carriers and a founding member of the Oneworld alliance since 2007.
