Airbus A300B4, registered OY-KAA, flew for SAS Scandinavian Airlines as part of the carrier's early fleet of Western European-built widebody twinjets supporting medium-haul international routes from Copenhagen, Oslo, and Stockholm. SAS was among the earlier operators of the Airbus A300 in Scandinavia, using the type to modernize its widebody capacity on European and Middle Eastern routes during the 1970s and 1980s before the carrier's later fleet transition toward Boeing and McDonnell Douglas widebody aircraft.
