Airbus A300B4, registered SE-DFK, flew for Scanair, the Scandinavian charter carrier affiliated with SAS, as part of the airline's fleet of A300s supporting long-haul and medium-haul charter routes connecting Scandinavia to Mediterranean and other holiday destinations. Scanair operated as the leisure travel arm within the broader SAS Group structure, using widebody aircraft like the A300 to serve high-capacity charter routes for Scandinavian tour operators before the eventual consolidation of SAS Group's various charter brands.
