Boeing 767-200, registered S7-AAS, flew for Air Seychelles, the Indian Ocean island nation's flag carrier, as part of the airline's long-haul widebody fleet supporting international routes connecting the Seychelles to Europe and other distant tourism markets. Air Seychelles has served as a vital economic lifeline connecting the remote archipelago to international visitors, with the carrier's 767 fleet representing an important step in extending the airline's long-haul reach during the 1990s before later fleet modernization with A320-family and 787 aircraft.
