Boeing 727-2D6, registered 7T-VEA, flew for Air Algerie, Algeria's flag carrier, as part of the airline's fleet of 727 trijets supporting domestic Algerian and regional Mediterranean and African routes from Algiers. Air Algerie built an extensive domestic network using the 727 to connect Algeria's coastal cities to its vast Saharan interior, a role that proved essential given the country's enormous geographic size and the limited road infrastructure connecting remote desert regions to the more populated northern coast.
Please note: An optional display stand is available separately if you wish to display this model "in-flight".
Designed as a smaller, short/medium-ranged complement to the 707, the 727 was first flown on February 9th, 1963. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
