Airbus A300-605R, construction number 561, was delivered to China Northern Airlines as B-2316 in the mid 1990s as part of the carrier's widebody expansion. The aircraft operated medium and long haul routes within China and to regional international destinations, providing higher capacity and improved efficiency compared with earlier narrowbody types. B-2316 featured a two class cabin and wore China Northern Airlines' blue and white livery. The A300-600R's range and payload made it well suited for dense domestic trunk routes. Following the 2002 merger that formed China Southern Airlines, B-2316 was transferred into the combined fleet and later retired as newer Airbus and Boeing widebodies entered service.
Please note: An optional display stand is available separately if you wish to display this model "in-flight".
