Airbus A300, construction number 003, was the third A300 built and registered as F-WUAD as one of the earliest test aircraft used by Airbus Industrie. First flown in 1973, it served as a development platform for the A300B program and appeared at several major airshows during the 1970s. Airbus later employed F-WUAD for systems trials, including updated avionics and early fly-by-wire research. The aircraft was re-registered multiple times as its roles evolved, including use by Novespace as a zero-gravity training aircraft. Retired in the 2010s, F-WUAD remains an important milestone in the launch and growth of Airbus widebody technology.
