Airbus A300B4-600R, construction number 534, was delivered to Japan Air System (JAS) as JA8464 in 1993. The aircraft operated domestic routes within Japan, connecting major cities such as Tokyo, Osaka, and Fukuoka. JA8464 was configured for high-density short- and medium-haul flights, offering efficient service on busy domestic sectors. It wore the distinctive JAS livery and contributed to the airline's competitive network alongside other Japanese carriers. After JAS merged with Japan Airlines in 2004, the A300 fleet was gradually retired, and JA8464 was withdrawn from service. The aircraft remains an example of JAS's A300 operations in the 1990s.
