Airbus A310-308, manufacturer serial number 667, registered A7-AFE, served the Qatar Amiri Flight, Qatar's state and royal VIP transport fleet, from August 2007 to May 2018 after being acquired from Emirates and fitted with a VIP cabin configuration. The Qatar Amiri Flight maintains a diverse fleet of widebody and business jets supporting travel for the ruling House of Thani and senior Qatari government officials, with A7-AFE representing one generation of this evolving fleet before its eventual replacement by newer VIP-configured aircraft.
