Boeing 727-51C, manufacturer serial number 19206, registered N413EX, flew for Emery Worldwide Airlines as part of the carrier's substantial fleet of converted 727 freighters supporting the airline's overnight cargo network from its Dayton, Ohio hub. Emery Worldwide, tracing its roots to freight forwarder Emery Air Freight founded in 1946, grew into one of the top ten largest all-cargo airlines in the world by the mid-1990s before a fatal 2000 crash triggered an FAA investigation that uncovered widespread safety violations, forcing the airline to suspend all flight operations in August 2001.

Please note: An optional display stand is available separately if you wish to display this model "in-flight".

Boeing 727-100F

Designed as a smaller, short/medium-ranged complement to the 707, the 727 was first flown on February 9th, 1963.
