Fokker F28-1000 Fellowship, serial number 11012, entered service with LTU as D-ABAX. The aircraft joined the German airline's short haul fleet and operated routes across Europe and the Mediterranean. Configured with a single class passenger cabin, the F28 provided efficient regional jet service on short sectors. Powered by Rolls Royce Spey engines, the aircraft offered reliable performance and good operating economics. D-ABAX supported LTU's early jet operations before the airline transitioned to larger aircraft types.
