Boeing 727-100F, registered N150FN, flew for Kalitta Air as part of the Michigan-based cargo carrier's fleet of converted 727 freighters supporting domestic and international cargo operations. Kalitta Air, founded by drag racer and businessman Connie Kalitta, built its cargo business around converted narrowbody and widebody freighters, growing into a significant charter and contract cargo operator serving automotive manufacturers, the U.S. military, and general air freight customers across North America and beyond.
