Boeing 727-100F, registered N152FN, flew for Flying Tigers as part of the pioneering American cargo airline's fleet of converted 727 freighters supporting domestic cargo operations. Flying Tiger Line, founded in 1945 by a group of former Flying Tigers volunteer pilots from World War II, became one of the world's largest cargo airlines before its 1989 acquisition by Federal Express, a deal that gave FedEx an established international route network and dramatically expanded the company's global cargo capability.
Please note: An optional display stand is available separately if you wish to display this model "in-flight".
Designed as a smaller, short/medium-ranged complement to the 707, the 727 was first flown on February 9th, 1963. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
