Boeing 727-224, construction number 21388, was delivered to Continental Airlines as N66733 in 1978. The aircraft operated domestic and international routes, serving key hubs including Houston, Denver, and Newark. N66733 featured Continental's classic globe livery, reflecting the airline's corporate branding during the late 1970s and 1980s. The 727-200 allowed Continental to expand capacity on high-demand short- and medium-haul flights, offering reliable service across its growing network. After years of service, N66733 was retired and sold to secondary operators, eventually being withdrawn from active use. The aircraft remains a notable example of Continental's 727-200 fleet and its operational history.
