Boeing 727-271, construction number 20960, was delivered to CP Air as C-GCPB in the early 1970s as part of the airline's expansion of its jet fleet. The aircraft operated domestic and transcontinental routes across Canada, as well as selected international services, connecting major cities including Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, and Montreal. C-GCPB wore CP Air's distinctive orange and white livery and was configured with a two class cabin suited to high demand routes. The 727-200 offered strong performance from shorter runways and reliable operation in challenging weather conditions. After the 1987 merger forming Canadian Airlines International, C-GCPB transferred into the combined fleet and continued service before being retired as newer, more efficient aircraft replaced the 727.
Please note: An optional display stand is available separately if you wish to display this model "in-flight".
