Boeing 727-227, construction number 21063, was delivered to National Airlines as N4753 in the early 1970s as part of the carrier's expansion of its domestic and international jet fleet. The aircraft operated high density routes across the United States and on services to the Caribbean, supporting National's growing leisure and business markets. N4753 wore National Airlines' well known sunburst livery and featured a two class cabin typical of the era. The 727-200 provided strong short field performance and reliability, making it well suited to National's route structure. Following National Airlines' acquisition by Pan Am in 1980, N4753 was absorbed into the Pan Am fleet and continued service before eventual retirement as newer aircraft replaced the type.
Please note: An optional display stand is available separately if you wish to display this model "in-flight".
