Boeing 727-200   4.5"   3.25"

Boeing 727-235, registered N4753, was built in 1968 for National Airlines as part of the carrier's mix of 727-100s and stretched 727-200s, part of an order National first placed in October 1964. When National was acquired by Pan American World Airways in 1980, its fleet of 43 Boeing 727s, including N4753, transferred to Pan Am, and the aircraft continued flying until Pan Am's own collapse on December 4, 1991, after which it was scrapped in Miami in 1993, closing out a 25-year career spanning both storied American carriers.

Please note: An optional display stand is available separately if you wish to display this model "in-flight".

Boeing 727-200

Designed as a smaller, short/medium-ranged complement to the 707, the 727 was first flown on February 9th, 1963.
