Douglas DC-8-54F, serial number 45630, entered service with American International Airways as N801CK. The aircraft operated as a dedicated freighter on domestic and international cargo routes throughout North America and beyond. Converted from passenger service, the DC-8-54F featured a reinforced main deck and large cargo door for palletized freight operations. Powered by Pratt & Whitney JT3D turbofan engines, the aircraft provided reliable long haul cargo capability. N801CK later became part of Kalitta Air's fleet, supporting charter and scheduled freight services worldwide.
