Boeing 707-321, serial number 18855, entered service with Air France as F-BHSF. The aircraft joined Air France's long haul fleet during the golden age of jet travel and operated international routes linking Paris with destinations across Europe, North America, Africa, and Asia. Configured with first class and economy seating, the Boeing 707 significantly reduced intercontinental travel times while offering improved passenger comfort. Powered by Pratt & Whitney JT3D turbofan engines, F-BHSF played an important role in the modernization of Air France's worldwide route network.

Designed as the first American turbine-engined airliner, the 707 was first flown on July 15th, 1954.
