Boeing 707-321B, serial number 18939, entered service with Pan American World Airways as N724PA. The aircraft later served with Alaska Airlines, where it was used on charter and scheduled services during a brief period in the carrier's jet operations. Configured with multiple passenger classes, the Boeing 707 provided long range capability and modern jet performance. Powered by Pratt & Whitney JT3D turbofan engines, the aircraft offered dependable service and helped expand Alaska Airlines' operations beyond its traditional markets.
