Boeing 707-458, serial number 18072, entered service with El Al Israel Airlines as 4X-ATC. The aircraft became part of El Al's growing fleet of long range jetliners and operated routes connecting Israel with major cities across Europe, North America, and Africa. Configured with first class and economy seating, the Boeing 707 provided comfortable long distance travel during the golden age of jet aviation. Powered by Rolls-Royce Conway turbofan engines, the aircraft delivered reliable performance and strong range capability. 4X-ATC played a significant role in expanding El Al's international operations during the 1960s and 1970s.

Designed as the first American turbine-engined airliner, the 707 was first flown on July 15th, 1954.
