Boeing 727-231, registered 5N-ANP, flew for Nigerian Airways as part of the West African nation's flag carrier fleet supporting domestic Nigerian and regional West African routes from Lagos. Nigerian Airways served as the country's primary air carrier for decades, connecting Nigeria's major cities and providing regional links across West Africa, before the airline's financial and operational difficulties led to its eventual 2003 liquidation and the later establishment of successor carriers to fill the resulting gap in Nigerian aviation.
Please note: An optional display stand is available separately if you wish to display this model "in-flight".
Designed as a smaller, short/medium-ranged complement to the 707, the 727 was first flown on February 9th, 1963. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
