Boeing 727-214(Adv), manufacturer serial number 20679, was registered as N551PS and delivered new to Pacific Southwest Airlines on May 11, 1973, joining the California carrier's fleet of 727-200s that served its dense intrastate routes under PSA's famous smiling-nose paint scheme. PSA sold the aircraft to Pan Am on December 27, 1984, and Pan Am re-registered it N374PA and named it Clipper Flying Arrow. It was then sold to Travis Ecology, Inc., in May 1985 and leased straight back to Pan Am, which continued to fly it for years while it passed between several leasing companies.
Please note: An optional display stand is available separately if you wish to display this model "in-flight".
Designed as a smaller, short/medium-ranged complement to the 707, the 727 was first flown on February 9th, 1963. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
