Boeing 727-222, registered N7627U, flew for United Airlines as part of the carrier's huge 727-200 fleet, which totaled 104 aircraft of the type between 1968 and 2001, all used on domestic routes. United's first 28 727-222s were built with an extra cabin door on both sides, a feature believed to be unique to the airline. In the early 1990s United offered the type in two main cabin layouts, with either 12 or 24 first class seats, and the 727-200 continued to serve the carrier through its years of post-deregulation growth until the type's final retirement in 2001.
Please note: An optional display stand is available separately if you wish to display this model "in-flight".
