Airbus A300B4-622R, registered HS-TAH, flew for Thai Airways International as part of the flag carrier's fleet of A300-600s supporting regional Thai and Southeast Asian routes from Bangkok. Thai Airways operated a substantial A300 fleet for decades as a core widebody type for medium-haul regional routes, complementing the carrier's longer-range 747 and 777 fleets, before the eventual retirement of the A300 in favor of more fuel-efficient Airbus and Boeing widebody aircraft.
