McDonnell Douglas DC-8-54F, registered C-GQBG, flew for Quebecair Cargo as part of the Canadian regional carrier's fleet of freighter-configured DC-8s supporting cargo operations across Quebec and beyond. Quebecair built its cargo business to complement the airline's passenger network before the carrier's eventual 1986 merger into Nordair and subsequent absorption into Canadian Airlines International, part of the broader consolidation of Canada's fragmented regional aviation sector during the 1980s.
Please note: An optional display stand is available separately if you wish to display this model "in-flight".
Designed to compete with the Boeing 707, the DC-8 was first flown on May 30th, 1958. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
