Douglas DC-8-62, serial number 46075, entered service with Braniff International Airways as N1807. The aircraft became part of Braniff's fleet of long range jetliners serving destinations throughout North America, South America, and Europe. Configured with multiple passenger classes, the DC-8-62 provided comfortable long distance service and excellent operational flexibility. Powered by Pratt & Whitney JT3D turbofan engines, N1807 helped establish Braniff as a major international carrier during its peak years.
